Auto Detailing with Pressure Washers

Posted by: bestdetailing | Comments Comments Off

Pressure washers are increasingly being used for auto detailing. Suppliers of pressure washers have started providing specialized machines for cleaning automobiles. Despite the wealth of options, not all pressure washers are ideal for car detailing. The following tips will certainly help when choosing a pressure cleaning machine.

Choose the Right Pressure Level

For auto detailing, the pressure level of these machines does not need to be very high. In fact, machines with a pressure level of more than 1500 psi are not suitable for cleaning vehicles. Pressure levels above 1500 psi may damage the vehicle surface.

Low Flow Rate

Low flow rates are often desirable for auto detailing, particularly for mobile detailers. In many areas, there is little drainage for water. Higher flow rates may flood the area, and may cause fines for excessive water usage. Mobile detailers, who travel to their clients’ workplaces and homes, often cannot rely on a sufficient water supply to drive high flow machines. In addition, leaving their clients’ facilities flooded is not a good business practice.

Daimer® supplies many pressure washers with low flow rates ideal for auto detailing. Ideally, it is better to select machines with flow rates of 2 GPM or less. One such machine, Daimer®’s Super Max™ 6120SCW, features a low flow rate of 0.5 GPM and pressure levels of 1000 psi. If there is no restriction on drainage or water consumption, any pressure washer with the right pressure levels can be used.

Daimer®, a premier distributor of cleaning products, offers specialized pressure washers for auto detailing. These machines make the cleaning process of vehicles easier and faster. For more information about these machines, visit www.daimer.com.

A Guide to Purchasing Auto Detailing Equipment

Posted by: bestdetailing | Comments Comments Off

Carpet cleaners and pressure washers are among the most preferred auto detailing equipment machines. For the most effective cleaning, many auto detailing companies utilize both of these machines for interior and exterior cleaning.

Interior Cleaning

Carpet cleaners are recommended for the interior cleaning of vehicles with cloth upholstery. Use a machine with low flow technology, such as Daimer®’s XTreme Power® XPC-5700U, to allow the interior to dry quickly. Daimer® machines with low flow technology allow carpets to dry in as little as two hours and upholstery in as little as one hour. Using less water will also help reduce the risk of mold and odors from forming within carpet fibers. Carpets and upholstery must be pre-sprayed before cleaning. Consider using a green cleaning chemical, such as Eco-Green® Carpet Care & Upholstery Cleaner, for effective and safe cleaning. For cleaning hard surfaces such as dashboards, consider using a steam cleaner.

Exterior Cleaning

Use a pressure washer for the exterior cleaning of a vehicle. It is important to make sure the pressure levels of these machines do not exceed 1500 psi, as higher pressure levels may damage the vehicle. For areas with little drainage or where water is not abundant, choose machines with low flow rates such as Daimer®’s Super Max™ 6120SCW. This machine can effectively clean engines, remove tough dirt and grease, and even melt snow and ice. Pressure levels of 1000 psi, steam temperatures of 300°F, and low flow rates of 0.5 GPM make this an ideal piece of auto detailing equipment.

Daimer®, a premier supplier of cleaning machines, offers auto detailing equipment with low flow rates and low flow technology ideal for detailing cars, trucks, and a variety of other motorized vehicles. For more details, visit www.daimer.com.

Exceptional Auto Detailing Products from Daimer®

Posted by: bestdetailing | Comments Comments Off

Daimer® retails quality auto detailing equipment and supplies. These include pressure washers, steam cleaners, carpet shampooers, and complete car wash systems that offer more benefits than either a stand-alone pressure washer or steam cleaner. Using these auto detailing products, you can clean the interiors, exteriors, and engines of cars and trucks.

One of Daimer®’s most popular pressure washers for auto detailing is the Super Max™ 6000. This machine offers three options for cleaning: hot water, cold water, and steam. The Super Max™ 6000 generates steam temperatures as high as 330°F and has a pressure level of 750 psi. This machine can heat water in as little as 30 seconds. The Super Max™ 7000 offers higher pressure levels, but not so high as to damage a car’s surface. With both of these machines, the steam option is ideal for auto detailing as it dissolves the most stubborn grease and other residues. Available cold water and hot water temperature operations can be used for other cleaning applications around the car detailing shop.

Interior detailing can be carried out using Daimer®’s powerful commercial carpet shampooers and steam cleaners, the latter of which are ideal for cleaning hard surfaces and spot cleaning upholstery. Steam cleaners such as the KleenJet® Mega 1000CV and KleenJet® Supreme 3000CV remove stains and odors. They use steam to loosen the stain from the surface, making it easier to remove. These machines are equipped with dry and wet vacuuming features to enhance productivity. A HEPA filter catches allergens such as pollen, spores, dust mites, and even some types of bacteria. Daimer® also retails steam cleaners with their ATIS® anti-bacterial technology, proven in lab tests to eliminate more than 99 percent of disease causing germs and bacteria.

Among Daimer®’s carpet cleaners, the XTreme Power® XPC-5700U is one of the more popular auto detailing systems. This machine has a powerful, two-stage vacuum motor and creates 100-inch water lift and 100-cfm airflow. While lacking a heating element, it can use preheated water for slightly more difficult cleaning tasks. For more powerful cleaning capabilities, consider the heated XTreme Power® XPH-5900IU with temperatures up to 210°F. For pairing with these machines, Daimer® offers Eco-Green® Carpet Care & Upholstery Cleaner, the premier green carpet shampoo in the industry.

Eco-Green® chemicals, such as Daimer®’s Eco-Green® Car Wash or Eco-Green® Truck Wash, are also available for use with Daimer®’s cleaning machines for maximum cleaning effectiveness. Learn more about auto detailing solutions at www.daimer.com.

What Detailing Crowd Do You Associate With?

Posted by: Renny | Comments Comments Off

Our industry as a whole can be divided into two groups...I encourage the professional detailers I work with, coach and train that there is another option...a third group.

We have the "I don't care, I think I know it all but in reality I know nothing about detailing correctly crowd. This is the crowd that places value on "beating" everyone in town and offering the lowest price....the same group who performs "destructive detailing" and while the work may look great...the results can be reached at a very high expense to the car...and the customer. Healthy clear is devoured as quickly as a great white shark can eat a foot long hot dog...that healthy clear can not be recovered and the paint finish is compromised and God help the poor detailer who details behind this group...with some luck, that detailer is well equipped to recognize a possible situation!

 Detailer Relaited Clear Issues??

The second detailing crowd is the "Highest Quality At Any Cost" group. Let me tell you, for two-years, I had "Addicted To Shine-itis" and when I looked at the numbers...the dollars and cents within my detailing business...I was shocked at how much my addiction to shine was costing me and how much money I was just "giving away" to the clients that I over performed for. Listen I love to make a car as new as new can get just as much as anyone reading this...my passion for detailing is only trumped by my passion for cars and that is a double whammy.  I loved making paint and interiors sparkle but just a couple years into my business, (a very long two years I may add) I jumped to an elite group within the detailing industry.

A Black Mirror Finish...But At What Cost?

The most elite group within the detailing industry... Pro's Turning a REAL PROFIT. This third group is a about a rare in our industry as a truthful politician is in Washington DC these days. Many players out there talking the talk but few have a checking account are assets that would prove any real success. The professionals making the most impact within this industry are those that know and understand the proper sales system and selling from a well designed detailing menu.

Above...Peter Is Not Only A Detailing Professional...He Is a Financial Specialist! Peter Will Be Speaking At Our Vegas Event

Which Group Do You Belong In or Desire To Belong Within? Being a fantastic detailer is not an option...to be profitable you must be a talented detailing technician in today's market but to survive you must be detailing smart!

Daimer® Equipment for the Auto Detailing Industry

Posted by: bestdetailing | Comments Comments Off

Starting an auto detailing business requires a substantial initial investment. Most of this money goes into purchasing equipment. Buying the right equipment in the beginning can avoid problems later. Equipment breakdowns, malfunctions, and expensive parts replacement can cost thousands of dollars in downtime and lost business.

Daimer® supplies high-end auto detailing equipment for commercial car cleaning use. These machines are designed to reduce cleaning time, improve pressure washing and carpet cleaning efficiency, and lessen negative impact on the environment.

One of Daimer®’s standout steam pressure cleaners for auto detailing is the Super Max™ 6120SCW. This machine offers the cleaning power of high temperature steam paired with moderate pressure levels to effectively soften and remove grease, dirt, mud, grime, bird splatter, and other residues without damaging the paint.

The Super Max™ 6120SCW uses steam at moderate pressure levels of 1000 psi and low flow rate of 0.5 GPM. This is one of the most suitable auto detailing systems on the market. It allows users to conserve water, reduce water flow, and offers more power than steam cleaners alone offer. It can clean the toughest dirt, from engine grease to organic matter, oil, and mud found on the car body. The Super Max™ can even remove snow and ice from engines, wheels, and windshields.

For cleaning interiors, Daimer® offers a range of carpet cleaning machines. The XTreme Power® XPC-5700U (non heated) and 5900IU (heated) offer moderate pressure levels of 60-100 psi, low flow technology, and reduced drying times. They also have power vacuum extraction capabilities to siphon off excess dirty water from the carpet. Visit www.daimer.com for more information on their auto detailing products.
